Tech Tuesday: Evolution Of Synthetic Voice

The “World of the Future” was the theme of the 1939 World’s Fair in New York City, where AT&T unveiled a primitive, robotic and typically male synthetic voice.

The future turned out a bit different. Synthetic voices are common, humanlike and most popularly female.
